Territorial Draft Office Searches and Enforcement Proceedings

According to Novyny.live: A citizen received a notification from a Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) about being searched and a fine. According to lawyer Vladyslav Derii, once the case is transferred to the enforcement service, the fine must be paid only to the accounts of that service.

On January 28, the citizen received a notification in the 'Reserve+' service stating 'You are being searched by the TRC and the State Executive Service.' The following day, he was informed the case had been transferred to the enforcement service. This indicates that the deadline for paying the fine for violating military registration rules has passed. As Vladyslav Derii noted,

'Since you have received a notice about the case being transferred to the enforcement service, your first task is to check whether proceedings have been opened.'

It is crucial to understand that while the fine for violating military registration rules is typically paid to the TRC, if the case has been handed over to enforcement officers, payment must be made exclusively to the accounts of the State Executive Service (SES), not the TRC. Vladyslav Derii clarified:

'If the TRC has already transferred the case to the enforcement officers, the fine is paid only to the accounts of the State Executive Service (SES), not the TRC.'

How to Check Information About Enforcement Proceedings

To verify information about the proceedings, citizens are advised to visit the website of the Automated System of Enforcement Proceedings. This will provide up-to-date information on the case's status and the necessary steps to take in response to the notification.

This situation highlights the importance of responding promptly to notifications from the TRC, as delays in paying fines can lead to additional legal consequences. Citizens should pay close attention to the information they receive and follow legal advice to avoid complications with the enforcement service. In Ukraine, maintaining proper military registration is a legal obligation for men of conscription age, and failure to comply can result in significant penalties.
