High Anti-Corruption Court Confiscated Assets of Zakarchenko: What Will be Taken.
The Court will Seize the Assets of Vitaliy Zakarchenko
According to inkorr.com: The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine has made a decision to seize the assets of former Minister of Internal Affairs Vitaliy Zakarchenko, who held this position during the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych. The decision comes as a result of a lawsuit by the Ministry of Justice and involves the confiscation of six real estate properties, including apartments in Kyiv as well as funds in bank accounts in Ukraine.
After fleeing to Russia, Zakarchenko continues to support the Kremlin's aggressive policy towards Ukraine. He currently resides in Moscow with his family.
This individual has already had property seized, is under sanctions from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, and is suspected of committing high treason. His activities are under active investigation by Ukrainian courts and law enforcement agencies.
This decision marks yet another step in the fight against corruption in Ukraine and demonstrates the state's efforts to recover assets acquired through criminal means. The investigation will continue as Ukrainian authorities work diligently to bring the entire case to a logical conclusion.
