VAKS has sent the head of the Rubizhne MCA to custody: details of the corruption case.
The High Anti-Corruption Court reviewed the case regarding corruption in procurement and decided that the former head requires preventive measures. Thus, Andriy Yurchenko was taken into custody for 60 days, or he can post bail. The defendant's lawyers plan to appeal.
The corruption scheme involved the conclusion of state contracts at inflated prices, resulting in property damage amounting to up to 30% of the contract. In addition to Yurchenko, the case also involves the former head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Oleksiy Kuznetsov and other individuals who are also accused of corrupt actions.
The High Anti-Corruption Court has appointed measures for the former head in the case of corruption in procurement concerning inflated state contracts. The defendant's lawyers plan to contest the court's decision.
