According to inkorr.com: In the Yavoriv District Court of Lviv region, a hearing took place, during which two border guards were punished for violating their official duties. Due to the patrol's insufficient attention, they crossed the border with Poland without permission. The court decided to impose a fine of 17 thousand hryvnias on each of them. This was reported by 'Glavcom' referring to Zaxid.net.

According to court documents, inspectors Pavlo Z. and Serhiy K. were part of the border patrol on July 11. Due to 'insufficient organization of service', they illegally crossed the border with Poland outside the official border crossing point.

As a result of the illegal border crossing by evaders, a service investigation was conducted, which showed that the inspectors violated the service rules (part 2 of Article 172-18 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses). Both inspectors provided written explanations, in which they admitted their guilt.

Judge Ihor Matviyiv reviewed the administrative protocols concerning both inspectors and found them guilty of violating their official duties. Pavlo Z. and Serhiy K. are to pay a fine of 17 thousand hryvnias each. This decision may still be appealed.
