Svyrydenko answered whether economic reservation included in the 2025 budget.
First Deputy Prime Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko spoke about whether economic reservation was included in the 2025 budget.
According to Svyrydenko, the draft state budget of Ukraine for 2025 was constructed without considering the launch of any new economic reservation program.
Revenues from economic reservation are not included in the 2025 budget. I believe that we will be able to return to economic reservation when we already understand that the army has sufficient resources to continue the fight… I can say again: mobilization - No. 1, reservation subsequently consistently No. 2,” she said.
In addition, Svyrydenko noted that the discussion about economic reservation is also a discussion about how to increase defense funding.
She emphasized that 1.7 million people partially work in the shadow, and there is potential for legalizing wages in various sectors of the economy.
“According to our calculations, we can additionally receive up to 100 billion UAH through the implementation of economic reservation,” said the First Deputy Prime Minister.
In addition to this, she clarified that the discussion about economic reservation can move into a practical implementation “in the near future, if the military says that it definitely will not disrupt the balance in the army, it will not disrupt the balance of mobilization.”
Recall, in Ukraine, the number of employees reserved from mobilization may be increased.
