On the morning of September 8, a horrific event occurred in Jerusalem: two unknown individuals opened fire at a bus stop. As a result of this terrorist act, at least five people were killed. Five more sustained serious gunshot wounds and were hospitalized, with a total of about 15 individuals affected.Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel is conducting a 'powerful war against terrorism.' 'Right now, we are pursuing and surrounding the villages from which the terrorists came,' he emphasized.The attackers arrived by car at the Ramot intersection in Jerusalem and began shooting at the bus stop. Both attackers were neutralized. Law enforcement and military personnel are working at the scene, collecting evidence. In the context of events in Jerusalem and the conflict in the Gaza Strip, Netanyahu confirmed his intention to continue the fight and promised to 'destroy Hamas, as we have promised.' It is known that the attackers were from Palestinian cities in the West Bank. Recently, a terrorist attack also occurred in Tel Aviv, indicating the tension in the region.
