According to Novyny.live: A terrorist act in Lviv overnight on February 22 resulted in the deaths of two law enforcement officers. The victims were 31-year-old Ukrainian National Guardsman Yosyf Pavlynskyi and 23-year-old police officer Viktoriia Shpylka. Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi expressed his profound condolences to Pavlynskyi's family, stating that the entire Lviv community shares in their grief. This incident highlights the persistent security challenges faced by Ukrainian cities during the ongoing national conflict.
Yosyf Pavlynskyi was originally from the village of Bakivtsi in the Lviv region. On February 23, a court ordered the suspect in the attack to be held in custody until April 22. According to reports, the suspect was promised two thousand dollars to carry out the crime.
