In the city of Odesa, a member of a drug gang who was distributing psychotropic substances was discovered. During a search of his apartment, prohibited substances worth 20 million hryvnias were seized. The offender faces imprisonment, reports the National Police of Ukraine.
An 18-year-old resident of Odesa was identified as one of the members of a criminal group that supplied drugs to the city's residents. He sold prohibited substances in the regional center, using the services of a logistics company and making 'drops'. During the search, law enforcement officers seized the psychotropic substance a-PVP, cannabis, mobile phones, SIM cards, and 'black' records that were sent for examination.
The estimated value of the seized batch of drugs on the 'black' market is about 20 million hryvnias.
What punishment threatens
The suspect was charged with illegal possession and distribution of narcotic drugs. For this, he faces up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property. Previously, there were reports of cases of sending psychotropics disguised as toys and about a soldier who was collecting cannabis in the Odesa region.
