Trump is Playing on Three Fronts: Kellogg Discusses Possible Negotiations Between Zelensky and Putin in Washington.
U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, is hopeful that the conflict between Ukraine and Russia might be resolved in the coming months. Kellogg stated in an interview with Fox News that President-elect Donald Trump could invite Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin to Washington for direct negotiations.
'President Trump is playing on three fronts, and I wouldn't be surprised if he did something like this. Could he do it? Of course he could. He would take such a bold step,' Kellogg emphasized.
Kellogg noted that their team is developing a communication strategy, specifically to listen to other parties. They do not plan to conduct negotiations but want to gather as much information as possible so that it is available to President Trump for decision-making.
Kellogg has previously spoken about Zelensky's proposal regarding NATO and warned Moscow concerning actions in Ukraine. He believes that President Trump could play a key role in resolving the conflict.
