Trump may no longer wait. Russia responded to the ceasefire proposal.

The representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, stated that the restoration of the ceasefire in Ukraine is currently impossible. He claims that it is Kyiv that is violating the energy truce by attacking Russia. Therefore, Russia does not plan to abandon the ceasefire.
Russia's response:
U.S. President Donald Trump expects a response from Russia to the proposal for resuming the ceasefire in the coming days. He explained that he is waiting for Russia's decision regarding readiness for a truce or intensified sanctions against it.
Zelensky invites Trump to come to Ukraine:
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky suggested that Donald Trump come to Ukraine before making decisions about ending the war. Zelensky emphasizes the need for U.S. control over Russia.
Russia's position:
The spokesperson for the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, confirmed Vladimir Putin's support for restoring the ceasefire. However, he noted that there are several conditions that need to be resolved. The dates for the next meetings between the Russian Federation and the USA have not yet been set.
