Trump unexpectedly changed his rhetoric regarding his promises.
Trump doubts the fulfillment of his promises
U.S. President Donald Trump, who made a number of grand promises during the election campaign, is now expressing doubt about their implementation. In his interview, he noted that lowering food prices may be a challenging task and that the introduction of tariffs could lead to increased costs for consumers. Additionally, he acknowledged the complexity of ending the war in Ukraine. However, his entourage asserts that Trump is transitioning from broad election rhetoric to real actions in power.
Caroline Levitt, the future White House press secretary, stated that Trump has the authority to fulfill his promises made during the election campaign. However, it has already been pointed out that some of his promises have not been realized, such as building the wall on the southern border.
