The American president announced a breakthrough in relations with China
On Sunday, Donald Trump announced an important achievement in US-China relations following a meeting in Switzerland. The president noted that the parties agreed to a 'complete reset' of bilateral relations.
'Today in Switzerland, there was a very good meeting with representatives from China. In a friendly yet constructive atmosphere, the terms for a complete reset of relations were agreed upon. We want China to open up to American business in the interests of both China and the US,'- Trump wrote on the social network Truth Social, adding that 'wonderful progress has been made.'
It was previously reported that US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng, and US Trade Representative Jameson Greer are participating in the negotiations in Geneva.
