Trump's Position on Ukraine is Failing: What the NYT Poll Revealed.
According to a new study conducted by the New York Times and Siena College, the majority of American voters are not satisfied with President Donald Trump's policy regarding the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Overall, 56% of respondents expressed their disapproval of the White House's stance on this issue, with 42% strongly disagreeing with the president's approach, and 12% 'somewhat disapproving'. Only 35% of respondents support Trump's actions regarding Ukraine - 20% of them strongly approve of his actions, while 15% somewhat support his policy. Another 9% of Americans abstained from responding or could not find their position.
The study also revealed that attitudes towards Trump's policy depend on voters' age. The most critical were young voters aged 18 to 29 - 66% of them disapprove of the president's approach to the Ukrainian crisis, while only 25% support him. The highest level of support is found among older Americans (65+), but even among them, a majority (52%) disagree with the president's policy, while 40% support him.
The poll was conducted from April 21 to 24 among 913 registered voters using mobile and landline phones. The margin of error for the study is 3.8%.
