Transplantations in Ukraine. Vinnytsia Regional Hospital made it to the top 10.

Vinnytsia Hospital ranked 7th in the top 10 for transplantation in Ukraine

The Vinnytsia Regional Clinical Hospital named after M. I. Pirogov continues to be actively involved in successful transplantation surgeries in Ukraine. In 2024, this medical institution again made it to the list of the leading hospitals by the number of transplants performed.

According to the information from 2024, Vinnytsia Hospital Pirogov took 7th place among other medical institutions in the country. The doctors of this hospital successfully performed three heart transplants and 18 kidney transplants.

In total, over the past year, Ukrainian transplant teams performed 516 organ transplants, based on data from the Ukrainian Transplant Coordination Center. The majority of these were still conducted from deceased donors.
