Road Collapse in Central Bangkok: Sinkhole 50 Meters Deep Due to Subway Construction.

The depth of the collapse reached 50 meters, and the total area was 900 square meters. In the video, part of the asphalt can be seen collapsing along with an electric pole. Fortunately, there were no injuries. The swift response of local authorities and rescuers allowed for the evacuation of people, the suspension of water supply and electricity, as well as the start of restoration of the damaged section of the road.

Security services and rescue teams responded quickly to the situation, ensuring the evacuation of people and safety at the scene. The flow of water and electricity was stopped in the area of the collapse, and repair works began shortly thereafter. Local residents were provided with necessary services, including water. Additional monitoring of buildings and soil structure is planned to avoid similar incidents in the future.
In connection with this incident, the authorities took urgent measures to ensure the safety of residents and prevent similar incidents in the future. Work is already underway to restore infrastructure in central Bangkok.
