Kyiv without electricity for the second time in a day: what attacks, frost, and overloads are doing.
According to ТСН: Some residents of Kyiv may be left without electricity for an extended period due to a combination of attacks, cold weather, and overloads in the power grid.
According to DTEK, the company has received over 200 reports of power outages at this moment. All requests are registered, and all possible measures are being taken to restore power supply.
“Currently, all available resources are being used: 57 repair crews are working around the clock to ensure that Kyiv residents have electricity again,” the company stated.
DTEK urges residents not to turn on powerful devices simultaneously and to use them in turn. This will help avoid new outages and speed up the stabilization of the system.
“Thank you for your patience and support. The lights are holding,” the company added.
We remind you that after the massive strike by the Russian Federation, hundreds of thousands of residents of Kyiv have been without electricity and heating for two days. If possible, it is better for residents to leave the city. The current situation in the capital is critical.
It was previously reported that in conditions of unstable operation of the energy system and regular outages, Ukrainians should be cautious in using household electrical appliances.
The situation in Kyiv requires attention. Authorities and energy companies are doing everything possible to restore power supply, while residents of the city must be careful in their electricity consumption to avoid causing additional interruptions. During this challenging period, it is important to follow the recommendations of specialists.
