Two children killed by a knife in Vinnytsia region: police detained the suspect.
According to inkorr.com: In Pokrov, Dnipropetrovsk region, a 2-year-old boy was injured by a pneumatic pistol he found at home. This was reported by paramedic Valentyna Marchenko.
"According to Marchenko, the boy found the weapon in a drawer when his 31-year-old mother was at home. A bullet lodged in the area of the forehead. Emergency medical doctors promptly provided assistance: they treated the wound, applied a bandage, and administered pain relief. After that, the child was taken to Pokrov City Hospital, where the surgeon provided necessary assistance, and then he was transferred to the regional children's clinical hospital in Dnipro."
At this moment, the boy's condition is considered moderate. The incident could have had serious consequences, as the child could have injured his eye or another vulnerable area. The doctor emphasized the importance of safety and urged parents to keep dangerous items away from children. The police have started an investigation, based on the results of which the issue of parental responsibility will be considered.
Brutal murder of schoolchildren in Vinnytsia region
Recently, a 23-year-old former teacher was detained in Vinnytsia region, suspected of the brutal murder of two schoolchildren. The attack occurred when 10th and 11th grade students were on their way to the lyceum.
"According to investigators, the tragedy occurred on the morning of September 10 in Sharhorod, Zhmerinka district of Vinnytsia region. The perpetrator, waiting for the children who were going to school, suddenly inflicted penetrating stab wounds to their necks. The children died at the scene due to the injuries sustained. The assailant fled the scene, but the police soon detained him – he turned out to be a 23-year-old former teacher of the deceased schoolchildren."
Recall that on the morning of September 10, the bodies of two teenagers with knife wounds were found in Sharhorod. According to the decision of the mayor of Sharhorod City Council, September 10 and 11 were declared days of mourning in the community.
The incident in Pokrov highlights the importance of ensuring children's safety at home, while the murder of schoolchildren in Vinnytsia region has caused outrage across the region. Both situations remind us of the need to adhere to safety measures and educate responsible citizens in society.
