In modern times, it is extremely important to have confidence in the proper operation of electrical appliances at home, especially when we are so dependent on electricity. The electricity meter is a crucial device that directly affects our electricity costs. Just like any technical devices, the electricity meter can experience malfunctions. To avoid additional expenses and detect problems in a timely manner, it is necessary to know the main signs of meter malfunctions and to regularly monitor its functioning.

Signs of electricity meter malfunctions

• Stopping the counting of kilowatt-hours;
• Displaying an error on the screen (for example, ERROR);
• Incorrect display of the date and Time;
• Illumination of indicators (attention/reverse/ground).

If you notice any malfunctions in the operation of the meter, do not attempt to fix them yourself - it can be dangerous to life. The best solution is to submit an official repair request and wait for a qualified specialist to arrive and resolve the issue safely.
