In Feodosia, which is under temporary occupation, the oil depot has been burning for the third day after an attack by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. New footage of the powerful fire was published online. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind".

As of the morning of October 9, the fire at the oil depot in Feodosia continues to burn. The fire can be seen from afar.

Local residents note that the columns of smoke are not decreasing, and an unpleasant smell can be felt in the city. Residents of nearby areas were evacuated (about 1100 people), and the tanks engulfed in flames continue to explode.

Rescuers state that it is likely the fire will not be extinguished until the fuel in the tanks is burned out. Experts report exceeding levels of sulfur dioxide near the attacked oil depot.

Recall that a powerful fire occurred at the oil terminal in Feodosia on October 7. The occupying authorities declared a municipal emergency mode.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the oil depot in Feodosia was hit by a missile strike. It is noted that this terminal was the largest in Crimea in terms of oil product transshipment for the needs of the occupying forces.

Recall that on the night of October 7, occupied Crimea was attacked by drones. As a result, a powerful fire occurred at the oil depot in Feodosia. Later, the Ukrainian Defense Forces confirmed that they successfully struck the enemy's marine oil terminal located in temporarily occupied Feodosia.

This marine oil terminal, located east of Feodosia, near the village of Beregovoye, is the largest facility of its kind in Crimea. It has storage capacities with a total volume of 250,000 cubic meters. Only two such terminals operate on the peninsula, another one is located in Sevastopol. This port receives ships throughout the year and offers a wide range of cargo handling services, with railways available.

On the territory of the oil depot in Feodosia, which was damaged, there was a Russian self-propelled anti-aircraft missile unit "Pantsir-S1". Satellite images published by "Radio Liberty" show that this complex effectively acts as a protector of the oil depot.
