The General Staff named the front lines where the fiercest battles are taking place.

Situation at the Front

On Thursday, July 24, the 1247th day of Russia's full-scale invasion continues. Over the past day, there have been 172 combat clashes at the front.

This was reported by the press service of the General Staff on Facebook.

In the Northern-Slavyansk and Kursk directions, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 12 attacks from the invaders, the enemy launched nine air strikes, using 21 guided bombs and carried out 368 shelling attacks, six of which were from multiple rocket launchers.

In the Southern-Slavyansk direction, the occupiers unsuccessfully attempted to advance 10 times in the areas of Vovchansk, Kam'yanka, Dvorichna and towards Petro-Ivanivka.

In the Kupiansk direction, there were nine attacks by the occupiers, the enemy's assault actions were repelled in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Borivska Andriivka, Holubivka, Zahryzove, and Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman direction, there were 28 combat clashes, the enemy tried to advance near the settlements of Hrekivka, Zelenyi Hai, Serednie, Shandryholove, Dronivka, Novyi Myr, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Shypilivka and towards Druzhliubivka, Serebrianka.

Other Directions

In the Severodonetsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled four enemy attacks in the area of Hryhorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers launched three attacks in the area of Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, and Bila Hora.

In the Torets'k direction, Russia attacked Ukrainian defenders' units four times in the area of Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk direction, defenders stopped 61 assault actions of the aggressor near the settlements of Rusyn Yar, Myroliubivka, Zatyshok, Lysivka, Popyv Yar, Myrnohrad, Zviruve, Udačne, Oleksiivka, Novoukrajinka, Mayak, Novoekonomichne, Kotlyne, Dachne and towards Pokrovsk, Pankivka, Volodymyrivka, Sukhetskoho.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the defenders repelled 15 attacks from the invaders in the areas of Zaporizhzhia, Zirka, Piddubne, Oleksandrohrad, Shevchenko, Maliyivka, Temyrivka, Voskresenka and Viline Pole.

In the Huliaipils'kyi direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders once in the area of Bilohir'ya.

In the Orekhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks in the area of Mala Tokmachka.

In the Dnipro direction, enemy units unsuccessfully tried to advance nine times.

As a reminder, at night, the enemy attacked Cherkasy, as a result of the missile strike, seven people were injured.

Also, under enemy attack was Odesa, where fires broke out in the city.

Details have been provided about combat actions in various directions of the front, where Ukrainian forces repelled numerous attacks and conducted successful counterattacks. Russian occupiers attempted to advance in many areas but suffered heavy losses and met with unsuccessful outcomes. In the conflict zone, a missile strike occurred in Cherkasy and fires broke out in Odesa.
