Kyiv region suffered from drone attacks
On the night of February 26, in Kharkiv, autonomous aerial vehicles launched an attack by occupying forces, resulting in casualties. This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhiv, referring to the police.
According to Terekhiv, three drones flew into the Shevchenkivskyi and Kyivskyi districts of Kharkiv.
Later, the mayor reported that drones attacked a multi-storey building in the Kyivskyi district of the city, resulting in two people being injured.
Fire in Buchansk region
Earlier, it was reported that a fire occurred in the Kyiv region and there were casualties as a result of the attack by enemy forces. This information was reported by the police, citing the Kyiv regional military administration.
As a result of the enemy attack, a fire broke out in a two-storey private house in the Buchansk region of Kyiv region. All necessary rescue services are working at the scene to eliminate the aftermath of the incident.
Moreover, a 19-year-old girl sustained a head injury due to the attack and was taken to a local hospital.
It is worth noting that earlier Budanov stated that the battles for Hostomel and Moschun ruined Russia's plans for a quick capture of Kyiv and influenced the further development of the military operation. The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, accurately predicted the paths of the offensive and the sequence of the enemy's actions three months before the start of the full-scale invasion, in November 2021.
