In Kharkiv, pyrotechnics neutralized an X-59 missile that did not explode after falling.
The X-59 cruise missile, which fell on the territory of a private house in Kharkiv, was neutralized by the pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service, reports the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Experts promptly removed the projectile and destroyed it at the demolition site.
Active evacuation in Kharkiv region due to the threat of shelling
Active evacuation is ongoing in 44 settlements of the Kharkiv region, which are under constant threat of shelling and combat actions. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleg Synegubov during a telethon. He noted that it is impossible to restore electricity, water supply, and heating on the left bank due to shelling of repair crews. Synegubov reminded that on December 25, there was a massive missile strike on Kharkiv aimed at critical infrastructure. He also noted that the government decided not to limit electricity supply in Kharkiv so that people could heat their homes.
The President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, reported that a Russian missile violated the airspace of Moldova on the night of December 25. She stated that Russia is attacking the energy infrastructure of Ukraine and violating the airspace of Moldova with a missile.
