Among the wounded are women aged 47, 50, and 60, and men aged 49, 39, 33, and 36. The assault follows a night of intensified attacks; in the early hours of March 10, Russian forces struck Kharkiv's Kholodnohirskyi district twice. This escalation comes just a day after a Russian missile strike on March 9 killed 11 people in the region.
Furthermore, on the night of March 8, Russian forces targeted rescue workers in the Kharkiv region.
"The head of the regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported on the incident,"highlighting the grave dangers faced by both civilians and first responders. The repeated targeting of non-military infrastructure underscores the severe risks to the local population.
This incident marks a troubling intensification of violence in Kharkiv amid the ongoing conflict. The increasing frequency of attacks on civilian objects endangers the lives of residents who are becoming casualties of the war. The situation in the region remains tense, with local services struggling to manage the consequences of the assaults.
