Air Raid Alert in Kyiv: Enemy Launched Drones at the Capital.
According to ТСН: In the evening of January 8, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv due to the threat of enemy drones.
According to the KMVA, residents were urged to urgently move to the nearest shelters and stay there until the alert was lifted.
The air forces reported the movement of enemy drones approaching Kyiv from the east. Soon, one Russian drone was detected over Troieshchyna in monitoring channels.
Concerns About New Attacks
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in his evening address, noted that Russian occupiers are preparing for new massive attacks on Ukraine, using the cold weather as an additional pressure factor.
“There is information that there may be a new Russian massive strike tonight. It is very important to pay attention to air raid alerts today, tomorrow, continually, and go to the shelters,” the president stated.
The situation with air raid alerts in the Kyiv region remains tense, considering the possibility of new attacks from the enemy. Residents are urged to be vigilant and follow the authorities' instructions, as safety is a top priority in this challenging time for the country.
