Locals are sharing news about it on social media.
In particular, in several neighborhoods of the capital, power and heating have gone out following the attack, and there are difficulties with water supply.
Attack on critical infrastructure
Monitoring sources report that the enemy targeted hydropower plants and heating plants in Kyiv and its surroundings.
It is known that the Russian armed forces used cruise missiles, ballistic and aerobalistic missiles for the attack.
Restoration of supply
Authorities are currently assessing the extent of the damage and are working to restore the functionality of the damaged facilities.
Previously, it was reported that during the declared rocket threat in the capital of Ukraine, explosions were heard during the night of December 27 – the city was under threat from ballistic and cruise missile attacks from the RF.
