According to ТСН: On Wednesday morning, a fire broke out in a high-rise building in the Obolon district of Kyiv. Initially, it was reported that the cause of the fire was the impact of a drone. However, it later turned out that the fire was not related to a Russian shelling.

This was reported by the head of the Kyiv city military administration, Tymur Tkachenko.

“The fire in the Obolon district is not related to a UAV attack. The causes are being established,” he emphasized.

During the air raid alert, after 08:00, Tkachenko clarified that as a result of the attack, an apartment in a high-rise building in Obolon is on fire.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko also noted that a UAV struck a 16-story residential building at the level of the eighth floor, resulting in a fire in one of the apartments. Emergency services have already headed to the scene.

It is worth noting that in the morning, an air raid alert was announced in Kyiv due to the threat from drones. Several explosions were heard in the capital, and monitoring channels reported the activity of air defense forces.
