Emergency power outages were introduced in Kiev, Kiev, Odessa, and Donetsk regions. Now all regions are returning to stabilization outage schedules, reports DTEK.

The reason for the emergency outages was the difficult situation in the power system, due to which "Ukrenergo" issued the appropriate order.

It is important to note that during the emergency outages, scheduled outage graphs do not operate.

Today, August 28, Oblenergo is applying measures to limit electricity consumption. All regions were expected to have two outage rounds throughout the day.

On the morning of August 26, the occupiers launched a massive attack on Ukraine. The Kiev hydroelectric power station near Vyshgorod was one of the targeted energy facilities.

It also became known that the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine's distribution substations with cluster munitions for the first Time.

Ukraine is returning to stabilization outage schedules. Today, Ukrainians should expect strict power restrictions.

Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine and member of the Supervisory Board of "Ukrenergo" Yuriy Boyko noted that it is too early to talk about the consequences of the massive attack on the power system and future power outages. However, plans for winter preparations will have to be adjusted.
