Kyiv and the region without schedules: emergency outages implemented due to attacks and frosts.
According to ТСН: On the morning of January 13, during an air alert in Kyiv, emergency power outages were implemented. In some areas of the Kyiv region, the outage schedules are also not functioning. Emergency outages will be canceled only after the situation in the energy system stabilizes.
This was reported by the press service of DTEK and NEC Ukrenergo. It is important to note that emergency outages have been declared in Boryspil, parts of Bucha and Brovary districts. In other areas of the region, stabilization outage schedules continue to be in effect.
Situation in the city
The Kyiv City State Administration has also confirmed that the NEC Ukrenergo team has again implemented emergency power outages in the city.
"Emergency power outages are in effect in the capital, caused by damage to infrastructure as a result of a night enemy attack," the statement emphasized.
Later, NEC Ukrenergo added that due to the complex situation in the energy system, emergency power outages have been implemented in Kyiv and parts of the Kyiv region. The reasons for these restrictions are explained by missile and drone attacks on energy facilities, severe frost, and the consequences of bad weather in the Kyiv region. Previous outage schedules, which were reported by system operators, are currently not being implemented.
Power supply status
Recently, DTEK also noted that the power supply situation in different districts of the capital varies significantly due to the consequences of Russia's attacks. The most difficult situation is observed on the Left Bank of Kyiv, especially in the Darnytskyi, Dniprovskiy, and Desnyanskyi districts, where emergency outages are being conducted on a strict regime.
According to DTEK data, a relatively better situation is observed in the Obolonskyi, Podilskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts.
The power supply situation in Kyiv and the region remains unstable due to constant threats from the aggressor. Local residents are urged to be prepared for possible outages, as the energy system requires time for complete recovery. It is advisable to follow official announcements to stay updated on the current information regarding power supply.
