Kyiv’s 19th RECOVERY Center Opens: Free Rehabilitation for Military Personnel.
New RECOVERY Rehabilitation Center Launches in Kyiv
According to TSN.ua: The RECOVERY network has expanded with its 19th facility, now open in Kyiv. This center offers complimentary rehabilitation services for military members, made possible through a collaboration between the government and private enterprises. Its opening marks a significant milestone in assisting servicemen and women who require professional care to recover from injuries.
This facility is the fourth of its kind in the Kyiv region. To date, over 43,000 military personnel have received rehabilitation support across the RECOVERY network. The new center features a ward unit with 36 beds, ensuring comfortable accommodations for patients. Additionally, 6,500 medical professionals have participated in educational programs to enhance service quality, with international internships conducted in 11 countries to adopt best practices for military rehabilitation.
'We are opening the 19th center of the RECOVERY network, and it truly is the most powerful and modern network of physical rehabilitation centers in the country,' stated Viktor Pinchuk.
Attention is also focused on the broader needs of military personnel, not just physical recovery. 'Rehabilitation for service members is not only about treating injuries but primarily about the individual, their needs, and their goals,' emphasized Tetiana Osypchuk.
