Opening of the Mental Health Center RETURN

According to TSN.ua: A mental health center RETURN has been opened in Kyiv, which will provide free psychological assistance to military personnel, veterans, and their families. The project aims to ensure comfortable conditions for treatment and recovery, using modern equipment. The center is designed to assist over 4,000 military personnel and their family members each year.

Strategic Importance of the Initiative

The new hub of the RETURN center has been established based on state medical institutions. During the opening, the founder of the project, Viktor Pinchuk, emphasized the strategic importance of this initiative. He noted:

“RETURN is a strategic project for me and my wife Olena.” - Viktor Pinchuk

The center is equipped with the necessary equipment to work with the effects of trauma, including computer and multimedia technology, which will allow specialists to work more effectively with clients.

The center employs a multidisciplinary team of six specialists who will ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment. All RETURN centers operate based on state medical institutions and provide free assistance. The creation of 25 RETURN centers across Ukraine is planned, already operating in cities such as:

  • Dnipro
  • Kropyvnytskyi
  • Lutsk
  • Poltava
  • Rivne
  • Ternopil
  • Khmelnytskyi
  • Chernihiv

This will expand access to psychological support for those in need.

The opening of the mental health center RETURN is an important step in supporting military personnel and their families facing the consequences of hostilities. Psychological assistance is critically important for the recovery and integration of veterans into society, especially in the current conditions. The establishment of new centers across Ukraine indicates a growing attention to mental health issues and the necessity for systematic support for military personnel and their families.
