Air raid alert announced in Kyiv due to Russian drone attack
On the night of October 29th, an air raid alert was announced in the capital due to an attack by Russian drones known as "Shaheds." The Kyiv City Military Administration reported on the operation of air defense, and later, Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko announced a fire caused by falling drone debris.
In the Solomianskyi district, a residential building caught fire after drone debris fell. Several cars and a commercial site are also on fire. All emergency services are present at the scene, Klitschko reported.
The Kyiv City Military Administration also reported the fall of drone debris in the Sviatoshyn district on open ground.
"Two people are injured in the Solomianskyi district at the moment. Medical assistance is being provided," stated Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.
Later, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko, reported that the fire in Solomianskyi district was localized. According to preliminary information, there are two injured, who received medical assistance. There is also a risk of gas supply system depressurization, so the emergency gas service is heading to the place.
Remember, this night, October 29th, Russian invaders again attacked Kharkiv, carrying out airstrikes with guided bombs. As a result of the shelling, there are casualties.
