Subsequently, routes No. 6, 7, 16, 18, 19, 28, 33, and 35 were also restored.
Energy workers explain that such interruptions are caused by network overload due to Russian attacks on energy facilities, leading to short-term voltage spikes. This triggers automatic disconnection of the transport infrastructure to prevent damage to equipment.
The capital's authorities have urged residents to be understanding of these temporary inconveniences and emphasized that the resumption of urban electric transport will occur immediately after the stabilization of energy supply.
Temporary disruptions in public transport operation highlight the impact of hostilities on the daily lives of the capital's residents. The authorities urge Kyiv residents to be patient and follow updates on the resumption of routes due to changes in the energy situation.
