Ukrainian Pensioners to Receive Supplemental Payments in February 2026.
Supplemental Pension Payments Scheduled for 2026
According to Novyny.live: Several types of supplemental payments will be added to the pensions of Ukrainian retirees in February 2026. These include:
- Supplements for pensioners living alone;
- An age-related bonus;
- Additional payments for those supporting children.
However, a large-scale review of the core pension amounts is not planned.
A key supplement will be a payment of 2,595 hryvnias for residing in radioactively contaminated zones. This will go to pensioners who lived in designated resettlement zones as of April 26, 1986. Additionally, honored donors of Ukraine will receive an extra 321 hryvnias.
Adjustments to Pension Provision
In 2026, the minimum subsistence level for non-working individuals will be set at 2,595 hryvnias, matching the aforementioned contamination zone supplement. The maximum pension has also been adjusted, increasing from 23,610 hryvnias to 25,950 hryvnias.
Consequently, Ukrainian pensioners can expect various targeted supplements designed to improve their financial situation, while their primary pension payments will remain largely unchanged.
The introduced supplements aim to support the most vulnerable categories of pensioners, particularly those residing in areas affected by radioactive contamination, as well as individuals living alone and parents raising children.
These measures indicate state efforts to enhance social protection amidst broader economic challenges. It is important to note that despite these supplements, the overall level of pension payments remains at its previous level without significant increases, which may continue to impact the financial well-being of many retirees.
