A youth space Villa Steckeviča opened in Lviv: how a historical building was saved

According to inkorr.com: The opening of a youth space and Plast home 'Villa Steckeviča' took place in Lviv. This celebration was dedicated to the beginning of the new Plast year and was held last Saturday, September 20. The Lviv City Council reported that the building was saved from demolition and underwent reconstruction, as noted by 'Glavkom'.

A new space for youth

'Villa Steckeviča', located at Zamarshtynivska street, 213, will now become a place for meetings and the development of youth talents. The area around the building has been equipped with sports and playgrounds, as well as an amphitheater, where everyone can find activities to their liking. An apple orchard has been preserved in the courtyard, adding a special charm to this space.

Festive events and security issues

The opening was a significant event during which tours were conducted, a presentation of 'Plast' activities in Lviv was held, and a conversation lecture on the role of youth in city development took place. A Plast campfire was lit in the villa's courtyard, adding a festive atmosphere.

However, against the background of all the positive events, it is worth mentioning the scandal related to wiretapping. According to Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, a listening device was found in his phone during repair work when he was 'communicating with various important people'. This incident raised concerns about the safety of residents' personal conversations in the city.

Thus, the opening of 'Villa Steckeviča' became an important event for the youth community of Lviv and a symbol of the preservation of historical heritage. However, the wiretapping situation emphasizes the need for greater attention to the safety of citizens in our city.
