The Ministry of Defense named the number of Ukrainians who contacted recruitment centers.
More than 29 thousand citizens have received consultations on joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Ministry of Defense reported that since the launch of the recruitment centers, more than 29,000 citizens have received consultations, and 6,617 candidates are currently undergoing the selection and registration stage.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the highest activity in the number of applications was shown by residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region - over 14% of the total number for the entire period of the centers' operation.
The distribution of activity by regions looks as follows:
Dnipropetrovsk region - 14.71%
Kharkiv region - 14.69%
Kyiv city - 14.63%
Zaporizhzhia region - 12.48%
Lviv region - 11.65%.
The recruitment centers offer vacancies not only in the Armed Forces of Ukraine but also in the National Guard, State Border Service, and the Security Service of Ukraine.
There is the highest demand among more than 10,000 vacancies for drivers, drone operators, staff personnel, and medical personnel.
It is important to note that recruitment centers do not issue summons. Consultations are conducted by civilian staff with confidentiality considerations.
Currently, there are 44 recruitment centers operating in Ukraine, as well as a hotline for consultations.
