An earthquake occurred in the USA
On the evening of Saturday, August 2, an earthquake struck the USA. Residents of some areas in New York and New Jersey felt the tremors.
The earthquake, with a magnitude of 3, was recorded at a depth of about 10 km in the area of Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. The natural phenomenon occurred around 10:18 PM on Saturday. According to residents of the state, they first heard a rumble, then felt jolts and swaying that lasted about 10 seconds. It was reported that the tremors were also felt in some areas of New York, including Upper Manhattan, Staten Island, and the Bronx, which are located 21 km from the earthquake's epicenter. There is no official information regarding casualties or damages.
