The Ukrainian flag was torn down by unknown individuals from the building of the honorary consulate of Ukraine in Przemyśl. This was reported by the Ambassador of Ukraine in Poland, Vasyl Bodnar."The wave of anti-Ukrainian hatred on social media has once again led to the tearing down of the Ukrainian flag from the honorary consulate of Ukraine in Przemyśl. This is already, at least, the fifth case of public contempt for the flag of Ukraine in this very place this year," Bodnar wrote.The diplomat called on the Polish police and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland to take action to investigate and punish those responsible. He emphasized that Polish law provides for up to one year of imprisonment for disrespecting the state flag.
Visit of the President of Poland to Ukraine
