New Requirements for Ukrainians in the EU
Now Ukrainians traveling to the European Union will need to provide biometric data, including facial scans and fingerprints, according to the new Entry/Exit System (EES). This system will come into effect on October 12 and requires third-country nationals, including those from Ukraine, to provide biometric data for entry into the territory of the European Union.
The incident in Poland highlights the importance of complying with legislation and behavioral culture while staying abroad. The new Entry/Exit System in the EU will also affect Ukrainians planning trips, emphasizing the need to prepare documents in advance. This may create an obstacle for some travelers, however, on the other hand, it will add more confidence in security at the borders of Europe.
