Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Sergey Ryabkov, stated that Russia is ready to consider Donald Trump's proposals regarding the war in Ukraine if they do not entail the defeat of the Russian Federation. Trump's proposals are currently viewed as election rhetoric. Russia approaches any ideas proposed by other countries in the realm of peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine with caution. At the same time, they will only consider proposals that do not include providing assistance to Ukraine in the ongoing conflict and the strategic defeat of the Russian Federation.
