Russia strikes Kyiv: among the dead is a Ukrainian athlete and his daughter.
On the night of July 31, Russia launched an attack on Kyiv using drones and cruise missiles. This aggression resulted in the tragic deaths of 31 people, including five children aged between two and 17 years, and 59 people were injured.
A Ukrainian athlete has died
One of the victims of this attack was 42-year-old Vitaliy Ryaboshchuk, who was a member of the Ukrainian Japanese martial arts organization Nippon Kempo Ukraine.
'Until now, the news of death... seems like a senseless mistake! It is impossible to comprehend this!
Words cannot convey all the pain and sorrow. It is like a terrible nightmare.
We express our sincere condolences to the family. We share your grief, we mourn with you!
May the deceased rest in peace, and may the Lord grant them the Kingdom of Heaven and eternal peace for their souls!'
As a result of the attack, Vitaliy's 18-year-old daughter Vlada and their dog Spike, who lived in the Svyatoshyn district, also died. Vitaliy worked as an IT specialist, and his daughter was studying at a higher educational institution.
News has also surfaced about Georgiy Bushchan's successes in Saudi Arabia, the possible performance of the Brazilian national team at the World Cup in the USA, and the life of a football club in Pripyat after the Chernobyl disaster.
The events that took place in Kyiv in early July were a true tragedy. The attack by Russia led to the loss of human lives, including children and civilians. Such events remind us of the importance of maintaining peace and security in the region, as well as highlighting the need for international cooperation to overcome threats to peaceful coexistence among countries.Read also
