According to Korrespondent.net: In the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation, at 7 a.m. on October 7, an explosion occurred on the railway section Stroganovo-Mshinskaya, located south of St. Petersburg. This led to the derailing of a locomotive and cars of a train transporting military cargo. This information was reported by Interfax-Ukraine, citing a source in military intelligence.

It is known that as a result of a successful operation by a group of unknown partisans, train traffic in the direction of St. Petersburg - Pskov was blocked.

Russian Railways reports that delays on the Stroganovo-Mshinskaya section occurred due to 'technical reasons', resulting in freight and passenger trains having to divert, causing several hours of delays.

Specialized services are working at the scene, clearing the railway tracks from the derailed train.

'Such special operations reduce the logistical and military capabilities of the Russian Federation, as Russian Railways is the backbone of the logistics of the Russian army and a significant financial donor to the 'war budget', - noted a contact from the GUR.
