According to inkorr.com: On August 28, the Main Intelligence Directorate destroyed the infrastructure of the key railway station Tver on the territory of Russia. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing 'RBK-Ukraine'.

Attack on the railway station

The enemy attack on the station occurred around 5 a.m. on August 28. Explosives were planted under the tanks that were on the railway tracks and were presumably filled with fuel. Within seconds, a powerful explosion occurred, executed by remotely detonating the charge. The tanks ignited, and the fire quickly engulfed the entire area of the station.

Purpose of the attack

According to intelligence information, the attack on the Tver station is part of comprehensive measures aimed at destroying the logistical capabilities of the Russian Federation in supplying the occupying forces with fuel, ammunition, and personnel.

Other incidents

On the night of August 28, explosions were also reported in the Volgograd region, in the city of Petrov Val, which, according to reports from Russians, were the result of drone attacks.

Additionally, that same night, the Afipsky refinery in the Krasnodar region and the Novokuybyshevsky refinery in the Samara region were attacked.

Importance of operations

Thanks to the explosions and the detonation of tanks with fuel and other strategic objects, the intelligence plays a key role in creating difficulties for the occupying forces of Russia by destroying their capabilities for further supply and replenishment. These destructions are an important element in the strategy of deterring enemy actions on Ukrainian territory.

Such strikes on important infrastructure in Russia indicate an intensification of measures to counter its military capabilities. Such actions can significantly complicate the supply of resources to the occupying units, which in turn will affect their ability to carry out further aggressive actions. Providing information about attacks and monitoring the enemy's response is also an important component in modern warfare.
