According to inkorr.com: Every day at 9 o'clock, Ukrainians honor the memory of all who died in the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we honor the memory of soldier Bohdan Oleshko.
Ihor Yakymchuk, a 40-year-old soldier, died on May 31, 2024, in the Donetsk region during combat operations. After finishing school, he entered a vocational school in Rivne, where he received an education as a technician-designer.
"Military service was a great calling for him. He was very passionate about this work. He received the rank of junior sergeant, was a true commander and comrade – focused, strong, always striving to achieve set goals. At the same time, he remained kind, honest, and fair," said Bohdan's wife.
Bohdan loved life and adventures, enjoyed fishing and sports. His motto was: "Where there is Sich, there is freedom; where there are Cossacks, there is strength." Unfortunately, the junior sergeant died in battle in August 2025.
