Incident in Vilnius: a plane crashed onto Zirniu Street
An accident occurred in Vilnius when a cargo plane fell onto Zirniu Street. There were four people on board: two pilots and two crew members. According to reports from Delfi, one of the pilots survived, while the other died. Rescuers ensured the evacuation of the victims and took them to the hospital. It is worth noting that residents of the building onto which the plane crashed were not harmed. The plane was leased by DHL, and the operator was SWIFT Air.

According to The Wall Street Journal, there were two mysterious explosions in DHL logistics centers in July. It turned out that this was part of a secret operation by Russian intelligence aimed at sabotaging passenger and cargo planes carrying dangerous parcels. Bombs were disguised as electric massagers instead of electronics. An investigation into these events is ongoing.
Incidents with airlines: engine fire and plane collision
This event is not the only incident that has occurred with airlines recently. A fire broke out in the engine of a Russian aircraft operated by 'Azimuth' at Antalya airport, and at Haneda airport in Tokyo, another plane collided with a coast guard vessel. In both cases, passengers were evacuated, but there were no serious injuries.
