In Sumy, rescuers neutralized an aerial bomb that did not detonate upon falling.
In Sumy, on the morning of September 26, a Russian guided aerial bomb FAB-500 was discovered, which did not explode upon falling. This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
Initially, the bomb was found near the Ivan Kharitonenko car bridge in Sumy. Explosive technicians and other necessary services were called to the incident site.
Later, the Sumy RMA reported that thanks to the prompt work of DSNS explosive technicians and the police, the threat of explosion from the Russian aerial bomb that did not explode upon falling was neutralized.
Let us recall that on the night of September 26, an air alert continued in a number of Ukrainian cities and in the capital.
It also became known that on the night of September 26, Russian invaders struck Zaporizhzhia, resulting in eight people being injured, including one child. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov. According to him, eight people were injured, including a 14-year-old boy.
As a result of the fall of fragments of the terrorist bomb in Kyiv, one child was injured, a residential building was damaged, and a gas pipe was depressurized. Also, windows in four residential buildings and about 20 cars parked near the building were damaged.
