Thailand has launched a unique floating train: how to get a tour.
In Thailand, tourists now have the opportunity to travel on a 'floating train', which has officially opened its doors. This information was reported by representatives of the country's state railways (SRT).
The 'floating train' route runs from Bangkok to the Pasak Jolasid Dam in Lopburi province, located 150 kilometers from the capital. This trip takes place annually during the dry and cool season, starting from November 4 and ending on January 28.
The ticket prices depend on the class of the carriage and whether it is a one-way or round trip. The price ranges from 150 to 590 baht (from 4 to 16 dollars).
The train is called 'floating' due to the sensation of плавання experienced by the participants of the trip. Tourists also have the opportunity to visit local attractions in Lopburi province during the journey.
It is worth noting that earlier, Ukrainians were granted an extension of their stay in Thailand for the winter.
However, in Thailand itself, restrictions due to COVID-19 are being reintroduced, which may impact the flow of tourists in the country.
