Trump's advisor reveals who changed his attitude towards Ukraine.
Pastor Mark Burns, who is referred to as the 'spiritual advisor' to U.S. President Donald Trump, spoke about the influence he has had on relations between the U.S. and Ukraine. According to Burns, he strengthened the ties between the countries after his visit to Ukraine.
'I told the president and the White House everything I saw in Ukraine. I shared information about the atrocities that Russians are committing against the Ukrainian population, particularly women, children, and the elderly. I also talked about the 20,000 kidnapped children and 700 places of worship that have lost their safety due to Russian aggression.'
When asked about Trump's reaction to his report, Burns noted that 'the president always sympathizes with innocent victims.'
'The president always expresses concern and compassion for innocent people who are suffering and dying. This is why you see him putting more pressure on Putin and expressing his displeasure with his actions,' said Trump's 'spiritual advisor.'
Previously, Burns supported the pause in military aid to Ukraine but changed his position after witnessing the consequences of the Russian missile strike in Kryvyi Rih.
'In fact, recently President Donald Trump approved the first round of arms supplies to Ukraine, signaling U.S. support for Ukraine's right to self-defense,' he added.
Pastor Mark Burns' statements regarding the influence on U.S.-Ukraine relations are corroborated by his interview in the Kyiv Independent. He shared his observations and stories about the atrocities that the Ukrainian population is suffering due to Russian aggression. According to Burns, President Trump always cares and shows compassion for innocent people, which is confirmed by his displeasure with Putin's actions and his support for Ukraine's self-defense. These statements highlight the importance of contacts with foreign influential figures in strengthening international relations.
