According to inkorr.com: In the Bielolenka district of Warsaw, three young men attacked a group of Ukrainians, committing physical assault and insulting them due to their nationality. The police quickly apprehended the attackers and informed them of the charges, as reported by the publication Glavcom referencing Raport Warszawski.

The incident occurred last Thursday when the attackers, without any visible reason, assaulted Ukrainians near a shop, causing them bodily harm. A woman accompanying the victims called the police and recorded the events on video. One of the victims required medical assistance.

“The police swiftly initiated actions to apprehend the attackers,” emphasized Paulina Onyshko, a representative of the district police department.

The video recording made by a witness became key evidence in the case. Investigators quickly identified the attackers and arrested them the following day. One of the criminals was found with a narcotic substance – mephedrone.

Further fate of the case

The suspects were taken into custody with police supervision. They are prohibited from contacting the victims and other suspects. Crimes related to nationality are punishable by imprisonment for up to five years. The police are confident that the attack was indeed motivated by the nationality of the victims.

As a result of the attack on Ukrainians in Warsaw, three attackers were arrested and await trial. By law, they face punishment of up to five years of imprisonment for assault and insults based on national grounds. The police emphasize that there are no doubts regarding the motives of the criminals in this case, and their swift response allowed them to apprehend the perpetrators of this brutal act.
