A man with a grenade was detained in Vinnytsia region: he threatened his ex-wife.
According to inkorr.com: On the night of September 6-7, the police detained a 62-year-old man in the Illinets community of the Vinnytsia region who threatened to blow up a grenade. The incident occurred at the home of his ex-wife. This was reported by

Detainment and qualification of the crime
The man was detained, and his actions were preliminarily qualified under part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for 'illegal handling of weapons, military supplies, or explosive substances'. This article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to seven years.
Circumstances of the event
The woman he approached reported that the man was in a state of alcoholic intoxication and threatened to blow up a grenade.
Actions of law enforcement officers
All emergency services, including special forces of the KORD and bomb disposal experts, urgently arrived at the scene. Law enforcement officers found the man in the same village and persuaded him to leave the grenade in a safe place and surrender.
Experts from the bomb disposal service successfully neutralized the RGD-5 grenade, which helped avoid a tragedy. A case has been opened for illegal handling of weapons, and an investigation into the origin of the grenade is ongoing.
This incident highlights the seriousness of the problem of illegal handling of weapons in Ukraine, especially in conditions where society faces numerous challenges. Law enforcement continues to work on ensuring the safety of citizens and preventing similar threats in the future.
