Traffic will be closed on the DniproHES dam in Zaporizhzhia on October 11: which routes will change.
According to inkorr.com: On Friday, October 11, traffic will be temporarily closed over the DniproHES dam in Zaporizhzhia. Due to this,
public transportwill operate on changed routes. The municipal enterprise "Zaporizhzhia Electric Transport" reported that the changes will affect both trolleybuses and city buses. More information can be found in the publication

Trolleybuses in Zaporizhzhia on October 11
The trolleybus service over the dam will not operate, so some routes have been redirected, and some have been suspended. Trolleybuses No. 1 and No. 11 will not run. Other routes will operate in a shortened format:
Trolleybuses:
- No. 3 — 4th Southern Microdistrict — Zaporizhzhia Square;
- No. 8 — Simferopol Highway — Zaporizhzhia Square;
- No. 9 — ZalK Recreation Center — Sedov Street;
- No. 14 — Simferopol Highway — Embankment;
- No. 17 — Sedov Street — Zaporizhzhia Square.
Buses in Zaporizhzhia on October 11
Bus routes will also undergo changes. Some of them will operate around the closed section, and to reduce congestion during peak hours, additional trips will be introduced.
Buses:
- Routes No. 7, 29, 34a, 38, 39, 56, 59, 71 will run from Zaporizhzhia Square to the "Epicenter" shopping center via Soborny Avenue, S. Serikova and Kosmichna Streets, as well as the M-18 Kharkiv–Simferopol highway;
- Routes No. 17, 18, and 72 from the Borodynska and Osypenkivska microdistricts will travel through Grebelnaya, Kylyashka, Vesnina, Synenko, Nezoli, and Arkovy Bridge, the Khortytsia island, Velychara, Metallurhiv Avenue and then on their usual routes.
Additionally, two temporary routes will be launched:
- "Pishchana St. — Metallurhiv Ave." via Arkovy Bridge and Khortytsia Island;
- "Zaporizhzhia Cable Factory — Metallurhiv Ave." covering the main transport arteries of the left bank.
All new bus, trolleybus, and tram schedules have already been published on the "Zaporizhzhia Electric Transport" website.
The city authorities urge passengers to plan their trips in advance and take these changes into account, as the temporary closure may cause delays in movement. It is forecasted that the restrictions will last only one day.
This traffic restriction over the DniproHES dam is an important event for local residents, as it will affect a huge number of passengers throughout the day. Authorities call on everyone to be careful and take into account the new routes to avoid inconvenience during their trips.
